What I love about this recipe is that you can adapt it any way you'd like. Use bacon. Don't use bacon. Use cheese. Don't use cheese. I'm lactose intolerant so this recipe was right up my alley. I'm also vegetarian; however made this with bacon so that I could share it with everyone else. It was wonderful and I would make it 100 more times. A huge thank you to Tammy Upshaw who gave me my first Dutch oven...Read More
I visited Tilted Kilt in Chino California recently and enjoyed a cup of their cheesy beer soup. I enjoyed it so much I wanted to recreate something like it at home. Not really knowing all the ingredients besides it having tons of delicious cheese, beer, and some spice I decided to take a stab at it...
I’ve always been a fan of a simple steak marinated with salt and pepper with a dollop of butter on top. The butter melts and the medium rare steak is perfectly barbecued. Then you add a slice of bacon around the outside of the steak. Oh my. Take from this what you wish. Everyone has their favorite way to enjoy their steak. This is just one of our favorite ways. We also love peppercorn sauce...
A BLT (Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato) is a type of bacon sandwich. The standard BLT is made up of five ingredients: bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and bread. The BLT evolved from the tea sandwiches served before 1900 at a similar time to the club sandwich, although it is unclear when the name BLT became the norm. As a little girl, my mom would make an entire package of bacon...
Bloody Mary’s can be made so many ways. The basic ingredients are ice, vodka and tomato juice. The rest is up to you. I love a dirty and very spicy Bloody Mary. I soak the celery and olives in the bottom of the drink and eat them at the very end. Camping and Sunday’s are perfect times to enjoy one of these amazing cocktails...
My mother in law saw a recipe in Allrecipes.com for Dark Chocolate Bacon Cupcakes. She pulled out the page and gave it to me. My husband’s best friend’s birthday was coming up as well as Easter so I figured I would attempt to make them with a few minor changes...
There is a bagel shop in San Dimas called The Bagelry that we love. Always the friendliest staff, freshest sandwiches, and delicious iced tea. My husbands favorite is the Big Apple with turkey, honey mustard, avocado and more. On occasion I purchase bagels and attempt my own version for him at home. My husband doesn’t like vegetables and that is why you don’t see any lettuce or tomatoes on his sandwich...

You just can’t go wrong with this! i make the BBQ sauce one day ahead. Recipe link at the bottom. Give yourself a good 2 hours to prepare this, bake this, and assemple all the toppings. WORTH IT!

My husband raves about this sauce that comes on the Jack Daniel’s Burger at a restaurant called TGI Fridays. Being pregnant and not eating meat I decided to call and put in a to-go order for a side salad...
