Red Wine Chocolate Truffles

The best part about chocolate truffles is the wine! You use ½ cup of red wine and you can enjoy the rest in a wine glass sipping while making yummy truffles. These do take a little time and are somewhat tedious, so keeping the wine glass full will help this process go a tad quicker.

Wine Corks

I was at a JUSTIN Wine dinner on Monday night at Ruth’s Chris in Pasadena. One of the guests brought a bottle of 1999 Reserve Isosceles and he had the cork attached to the side of the bottle. I took a picture of it and then came home and practiced.
Remove the top piece of foil, just above the collar of the bottle and toss out.

Summertime Sangria


2 x 750mL (the same) bottles of your favorite Sauvignon Blanc wine

2 cups of St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur

Use all fresh fruit – These are suggestions and the one’s I like to use:
1 package of strawberries, remove tops and cut in half
1 package of blueberries
1 package of raspberries
3 fresh peaches, remove pit and cut into half moons
