We toss shredded carrot with a little brown sugar and let the mixture stand for ten minutes. This tenderizes the shreds-important here because, unlike with an actual carrot cake that bakes for a while, these cook for only 10-12 minutes, not much time for the carrots to cook to softness. Just like Whoopie Pies! Basically a carrot cake in mini form. Perfect for Easter...

Go to your local wine shop, brewery, and/or grocery store and pick out 12-20 different beers and wines.
Purchase some delicious candy such as Snicker’s, Andes Mints, Reese’s Pieces, etc. and stick a few inside plastic Easter eggs. You can typically find these at a .99 cent store or local grocery store.

Chili is always made with meat. My husband even walked over and told me that the only thing wrong with the chili was that it was missing ground beef. When I made him take a bite he took back what he said. He dove in for another bite and then kept grabbing tortilla chips and dipping them in my bowl of chili after he ate his hamburger. He will now be having his own Chili Size tonight...
There is a bagel shop in San Dimas called The Bagelry that we love. Always the friendliest staff, freshest sandwiches, and delicious iced tea. My husbands favorite is the Big Apple with turkey, honey mustard, avocado and more. On occasion I purchase bagels and attempt my own version for him at home.
