1/2 pound margarine or salted butter, softened = 2 sticks (I like Costco butter)
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups Quaker quick or old fashioned oats, uncooked
