I've wanted to grill peaches on the BBQ for years. We enjoyed a nice steak dinner with friends last night and realized I had 2 fresh peaches. This would be the perfect opportunity. Our friend Marshall and I researched many sites and then created our own recipe from what we had in the house. If you don't have this balsamic glaze, then you can make your own in a pan with balsamic vinegar and sugar...Read More
You can prep everything ahead of time, so all you have to do is add it in. I chopped all the veggies and made containers of the dried and wet ingredients to take to my mother in laws. Read More
A pesto recipe that can be used so many different ways. It is best served on baguettes or tossed with pasta for a delicious lunch or dinner. The addition of red pepper flakes gives it a little heat making this one of the best pesto sauces I’ve ever had.

We have close family friends that are Argentine and make their Chimichurri from scratch. Every time we go to their home, there is always fresh chimichurri, bread and grilled sausages. My husband loves chimichurri but he’s not a veggie person. I wanted to find a recipe that didn’t call for so much parsley but still had the same consistency and similar flavors as an authentic chimichurri...
I found this Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar at Home Goods years ago. It is made by Sonoma Harvest. I drizzle it on my salads. It is just wonderful. I’ve tried to find it locally and can’t. I know I can purchase it online for $15 plus shipping, but I got the idea to try and create my own homemade strawberry salad dressing. I’m very pleased with this and look forward to making a lot more of it.

My husband raves about this sauce that comes on the Jack Daniel’s Burger at a restaurant called TGI Fridays. Being pregnant and not eating meat I decided to call and put in a to-go order for a side salad...
This calls for quite a bit of Jack Daniel’s. When you smell it afterwards, you just get pure Jack Daniel’s in your nose. It will cook out as you cook your meat. The recipe I used this for was 3 different ways using Ranchers Reserve beef chuck flanken-style ribs. These ribs just fall right off the bone. I marinated some of the ribs overnight and cooked some in the oven and some on the BBQ grill...
Perfect blend of sweet and salty! Because of the green onions, soy sauce, and brown sugar this marinade almost gives a Korean dipping sauce effect.

¼ cup soy sauce

¼ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
