1 medium red or white onion, diced – estimate 1.5 cups
2 tablespoons of butter
Salt & Pepper
4 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of white vinegar
1 tablespoon, molasses
1 cup catsup
1 cup water
In a medium pan, add in diced onions and butter, cook on medium until browned. About 15 minutes.
Add a pinch or two of salt and pepper.
Add in the remaining ingredients and cook on low to medium heat, simmering for 30-40 minutes and stirring occasionally.
Add to your favorite hamburger!
